Joe and Teresa Giudice of "Real Housewives of New Jersey" aren't the only ones headed to prison for fraudulent charges. Another housewives member is headed to the big house only this person is not from New Jersey.

According to reports, "Real Housewives of Atlanta" Phaedra Parks, husband, Apollo Nida, has been sentenced to 8 years in prison by the U.S. District Court. Nida, 35, was charged with conspiring to commit mail, wire and bank fraud.

Nida was arrested in January. Four months later he plead guilty taking a plea deal which gave him 22 years less than the sentence he would have been facing.

Now here's the thing before Apollo appeared on the reality series with his wife Phaedra he had just did six years in prison for racketeering. He was in prison from 2003 to 2009. His recent charges also stemmed from 2009 which means he was a criminal the whole time he was on the show. Phaedra and Nida began on the show during the third season which premiered in October 2010.

According to court documents, starting in August 2009 Apollo got a hold of stolen checks from the US Treasury and the Delta Airlines by either stealing them or buying them from other criminal associates. Nida and others also filed fraudulent tax returns by making false claims against the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. They were running this scheme in 11 states using over 50 stolen identities.

While Nida is looking at 8 years in prison Joe Giudice is only looking at close to three years and his wife, Teresa has been sentenced to two years and three months. Since Apollo is already a convicted felon his sentence was longer. The reality tv star's sentence has no set date but according to reports, sentencing usually begins within three to six weeks following the order.

So, what is Phaedra going to do now that her husband is going to be gone for 8 long years. It will be 2022 by the time Apollo get out of prison. Now the "Real Housewives of Atlanta fans know what he was doing for a living, running a scheme on the government. That explains the cars and the invisible income. No wonder why Phaedra has jobs!
