It's been nearly a decade since rapper/singer Missy Elliott released a solo album. Based on the latest rumors the "Supa Dupa Fly" rapper could be ready to join the competition again!
According to music producer Timberland, an album is on the way. During an interview with Rolling Stone Timberland revealed that he's been working with Missy on her seventh studio album titled "Block Party" but it's all up to her and when she's ready.
"It's coming. It's on her. She got the first single. It's just a matter of when she wants to do it. We got the hallow-tip bullet in the gun. We have the game-changer right there," Timberland explained.
Timberland also stated that this album will be something different. It won't be what we are use to hearing from Missy.
Missy recently joined music producer Pharrell at this years BET Awards while he performed "Come Get It Babe".
