Why Was Blu Cantrell Hospitalized?

It's been over a decade since we heard some music from singer Blu Cantrell. It's unfortunate that the latest news is not so good news!

According to TMZ, law enforcement was forced to take Blu Cantrell to a hospital for a psychological evaluation. The incident occurred around 2 a.m. after Cantrell was seen running in her neighborhood in Santa Monica. 

The "I'll Find A Way" singer was allegedly saying she had been poisoned by gas.

Cantrell, 38, is mostly known for her hit single "Hit Em Up Style (Oops)". 

So does that mean Blu is mentally unstable? Is that why she has been under the radar for so long?
