While the Cleveland Cavaliers are preparing for Saturday's game against the Miami Heat one of their star players has been hurt.
According to reports, Kyrie Irving suffered an injury to his right knee during practice. The incident occurred right before the Cavaliers were headed to Brazil to prepare for their upcoming game against the Miami Heat.
Following Irving's injury and X-ray was done and he had an MRI. He was later seen with a walking boot while on an outing with his teammates.
Kyrie scored 16 points in their first preseason game against Maccabi Tel Aviv. He finished with four points more than forward Lebron James.
No word on if the point guard will be able to play at Saturday night's game but the injury is not serious, according to Irving.
Irving is the youngest player on the Cavaliers but he is also one of the starters of the team. He has missed nearly 50 games due to injuries during his time in the league. If he can pull through those he can pull through this injury, we hope!
