Dr. Dre Tops Forbes "World's Highest Paid Musician"

Last year Dr. Dre ranked at number 20 on the Forbes 2013 "World's Highest Paid Musician's" list. At that time he earned $40 million. 

This year the producer took over Madonna's spot topping the Forbes list, earning three times five the amount he earned in 2013. Thanks to his mega deals with Apple and Beat Electronics Dr. Dre earned $620 million in 2014.

Beyonce who came in at number 9 last year with $53 million earned double the amount in 2014, becoming the second highest paid musician with $115 million.

Other musician's who made the top five include The Eagles at number 3 with $100 million, Bon Jovi at number 4 with $82 million and Bruce Springsteen at number 5 with $81 million.

Justin Bieber came in after Springsteen with $80 million. Rapper Jay-Z, producer Diddy and singer Bruno Mars were all tied at number 12 with $60 million.

Drake, Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Justin Timberlake, Elton John and Lady Gaga also joined this year's highest paid musician list.
