Is 2 Chainz Running For Mayor?

It's been rumored that rapper 2 Chainz could be running for mayor in his hometown.

According to XXL, the Atlanta emcee revealed his desire to become mayor of College Park, Georgia.

“I’m a musician, not a politician,” he said. “I’m supposed to be running for mayor in College Park. I got everybody wishing. I’m really gonna do this little mayor thing in College Park. I’m just trying to make sure I have the right qualifications.”


“We’ll see where the future lies for me, but you know, everything I do gotta be organic,” he added.

This announcement comes after 2 Chainz who graduated from Alabama State University with a 4.0 GPA, got into a controversial debate with Nancy Grace over legalizing marijuana.

The "I'm Different" rapper also talked about the applause he received for challenging Nancy Grace.
