According to Deadline.com, Wednesday's episode of "Empire" pulled in 11.3 million viewers. A big jump from last week which brought in 10.3 million viewers. The premiere of the show starring Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard brought in 9.8 million viewers.
For the first time the show had more viewers than "American Idol" who dropped from close to 12 million viewers to 11 million.
