Stuart Scott Dies After 7-Year Battle With Cancer

Sadly, this past Sunday ESPN veteran anchor Stuart Scott past after battling cancer for the past seven years.

Scott worked for ESPN for 21 years. He was born in Chicago but grew up in North Carolina. Throughout his career he went from Florence, South Carolina, Raleigh, North Carolina and then to Orlando.

Those who have come to know Scott described him as a friend and an inspiration.

NFL Network sportscaster Eric Eisen said Stuart battled cancer as bravely as anyone else.

"I know there many people out there who are battling cancer right now," Eisen said. "Stuart would want you to know to keep fighting.

Our condolences and prayers go out to Stuart Scott family. He will truly be missed!
