ILL PHILL, one of Chicago’s rapidly emerging up-and-coming rappers, just debuted his first music video as a solo rap artist with “Ayisyen’m Yo”. The single will be his introduction to the industry as a multi-lingual rapper (rapping in Haitian Creole) straight out of Chicago. This drill sound, blended with the Haitian Creole lyrical delivery, is sure to set ILL PHILL apart from the rest. The Smylez-producer track and Hued Productions-directed music video take you into ILL PHILL's world.

Inspired by his roots and the misconceptions of Haitians, ILL PHILL is looking to change the game with this hit single. “My parents and grandma migrated from Haiti to make a better life for our family. I came up with the song to show my passion, ambition, and love for the country of Haiti. There are people that will judge you based on your upbringing and say what you’re not capable of doing. This is me telling everyone out there that no matter where you’re from you can overcome that.”

You can catch ILL PHILL at numerous upcoming shows in Chicago over the Winter and Spring 2016. We appreciate your support and please contact illphill.booking@gmail.com for all interview inquiries!
