For almost a year Chicago rapper Kanye West and reality star Kim Kardashian aka "Kimye" have been dating. Before Kim married Kris Humphries West expressed his love for Kim in one of his songs. No sooner than the two separated Kim and Kanye began dating. Unfortunately, not everyone thinks being with Kim is good for Kanye's image.
Those in the music industry feels Kanye's love life is taking over his music career. According to reports, he turned down performances for New Year's Eve. One source says having Kim around every time he has a show isn't a good look for him.
If you think about it Kanye was absent during several musical events and award shows, one where he was nominated for almost 20 awards. West also has an upcoming show in Atlantic City where a ticket broker has predicted the show isn't close to being sold out.
