Previously, it was reported that Rick Ross rapped about raping a girl after putting molly in her champagne on Rocko's single U.O.E.N.O. As a result a petition was started requesting the lyrics be removed. Radio stations also banned the song from the airwaves.
Recently, Ross apologized via Twitter saying his lyrics were misinterpreted. During a radio show he told Q 93.3 that he see women as precious gifts to men. He said the lyrics was a misunderstanding.
"A misinterpretation where the term rape wasn't used. I would never use the word rape in my records," Ross said.
Rick Ross should have given a public apology instead of on Twitter. It's not just adults that listen to his music, children do as well!
