Snoop Speaks On Homosexuality In Hip-Hop

Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion aka Snoop recently did an interview with Guardian UK discussing being gay in the hip hop world. Snoop feels being gay in hip hop will not be accepted.

Snoop compared his views to being on a football team saying it is impossible to be in a locker room full of men and all of a sudden come on to one.

"You know that's going to be tough," Snoop said.

He also reflected on singer Frank Ocean who openly revealed he was bisexual to the public. Snoop feels that just because homosexuality is accepted in the singing world doesn't mean it would be accepted in hip hop.

The "Drop It Like It's Hot" rapper  said he has gay homies and he has confirmed that he has no problems with gay people, he also acknowledged that the majority of rappers might not feel the same way he does.

There's only one question that comes to mind. How does Snoop know that there aren't any gay rappers now? Just because it's not broadcasted doesn't mean it doesn't exist. There are tell-all books out like Hip Hop In Hiding that reveals alleged homosexual relationships amongst rappers. So, they might not be so against it as Snoop thinks!
