NBA player Jason Collins recently announced to the world he is a gay man. MTV took time out to get a couple of rappers opinions on Collins being gay in the NBA. Lil Wayne and ASAP Rocky had some positive things to say about the pro basketball player.
Wayne said Collins coming out the closet is a door opener for others in hiding.
"Just to see how many people came to his support and things like that, that's a pretty fair world out there. Be you," Wayne said.
ASAP Rocky said he has respect for men like Collins for coming out. He said he has no respect for the gay men who stay in the closet.
"I respect gay men who identify it and who are out with it. I don't have a problem with gay people at all. So it's like that's his business. It don't concern me," ASAP Rocky explained to MTV.
Is it better to be openly gay or in the closet? In the world we live in it really doesn't matter because eithr way they will still be judged!
