Lauryn Hill Tops Best Female Rapper Of All Time

Although female rappers are rarely accepted in the rap game many have earned their place in the industry. 

According to HipHopwired, as of March 2015, Lauryn Hill, Lil Kim, MC Lyte, Missy and Nicki Minaj made their top 5 list of the Best 25 female rappers of all time, with Hill coming in at number one and Minaj at number five.

Joining the top ten are Da Brat, Salt-n-Pepa, Rah Digga, Foxy Brown and Queen Latifah.

Also joining the Best 25 female rappers of all time include Yo-Yo coming in at number 20 and the late Left Eye at number 15.
